I am unsure who makes this detailed brass / nickel silver kit, but I am pretty sure it is DJH.
KIT BUILT
LMS BLACK 2-6-0 CRAB CLASS LOCOMOTIVE
LOCOMOTIVE No. 2900 on one side only.
OO GAUGE
The loco has been professionally assembled and painted from an etched brass / Nickel Silver body kit, with a brass chassis.
Fitted with a Mashima can motor and right angle gearbox with fine gearing and scale wheels on a Comet chassis with sprung buffers, hook and Chain couplings.
The loco currently has a short in the system but is working. It just needs insulating tape over the can motor to prevent the contact touching the body. The
main driving cog is missing the grub screw that holds it to the axle and will need to be replaced.
The wheels and motion are free to rotate and have a good feel. The draw bar between the loco and tender will need to be replaced.
With a little fettling this loco is ready to go with all the really hard work already done.
A wonderful locomotive to add to your collection.
Comes in a good loco storage box.
