Trust me when I say that it all goes by so fast you'll be wondering where the time went. And my OB/GYN told me he loves to see written diaries from expectant Moms, because it helps him catch problems a mother might not realize are significant.  The example he used was vomiting. He said that a mother might mention morning sickness, but a diary could reveal she was throwing up multiple times daily, possibly far more than should be expected.
