Vintage Mesh Screen Hand Held Strainers Sieves 3" and 5" LOT OF 2 Rustic Farm

For your consideration is this lot of (2) two
vintage
mesh screen hand held strainer sieves.  There is (1) one black plastic handle 5.0" wide strainer and (1) one red wood handle 3.0" wide strainer.  These two hand held strainers were my grandmother's and were recently rediscovered and unpacked after having been in storage for over the past 56 years.  These strainers were old back then when we cleaned out her country home in order to settle her estate so I know they date back long before the early 1960's.

Both strainers are unbranded.  Based upon the other vintage kitchen utensils my grandmother owned, and which I have been searching through, I believe the 3.0" wide red wood handle strainer is the older of the two and perhaps dates back to as early as the late 1930's to early 1940's.  The black plastic handle 5.0" strainer is estimated to be from the early to mid 1950's.
Both strainers are all in well-used condition and have acquired differing levels of light surface blemishes, oxidation and/or natural patina across their metal surfaces.  The larger strainer measures approximately 12.0" long and the smaller strainer approximately 8.75" long.  The red wood handle on the smaller of the two strainers has somewhat faded over the decades and shows years of honest use and wear.  The black plastic handle on the larger strainer shows light surface scratches and wear also.  These pieces are exactly as they were found and are being offered in "as is" condition.  I decided to keep the pieces in their original found state as I did not want to distract from their quaint rustic farmhouse appeal.
Overall, this lot of (2) two vintage strainers are genuine 60 to 70+ year old kitchen utensils that remain in good condition and are exactly as you would like to find these type pieces.  Once again, these strainers are in "as found condition" and inasmuch may still have decades of accumulated dust on them.  Please refer to the description photos to confirm the condition of the peeler-corers and for more details about what I have described.
