  • Condition: Cards are lightly-handled with no issues except for the Three of Water card that has a stain at the top left of the card (see photos). I have included a couple pictures of the stain and how it appears alone as well as with the other cards side-by-side for you to determine if you can live with it or not. There are no creases, tears or corner issues, and the graphics are still clear and vibrant. No corner wear, scuffs, creases or scratches. No grime, bends, or structural issues. No writing on the cards. This listing is for the cards and correspondence from Poppy (note, photocopied instructions, mailing package) only. No box. No book. Please study photos closely and read description for additional information on content and condition.

    Waking the Wild Spirit Tarot
    by Poppy Palin (1966-2022). Llewellyn Publications, 2002. This listing consists of the 78-card deck as described above and photocopied interpretations (10 pages), note and shipping packaging received from Poppy in the UK back in 2008. I do not remember exactly why I originally wrote to her. I probably was looking for her deck (in 2008 it was already hard to find) and someone in a forum or something told me to write to Poppy as she had some extra decks on hand --so I wrote to her. As Poppy's handwritten note indicates, she didn't have a book to send so she photocopied parts of the book instead, handwriting over part of the lighter print. In addition, I also ordered an original art print from Poppy that still hangs in my hallway. At this time, I'm downsizing (like I keep telling folks) and these cards made the cut today. The Three of Water card was not stained when I originally received it, I don't know how it got that way, all the remaining cards are perfect --but there it is --imperfection --or character --you decide.
